They touched base in Colorado this week for an exciting occasion on the ski inclines.
But, Angelina Jolie set aside some opportunity to explore the winter resort itself on Sunday as she took her eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, and little girl Shiloh, 10, for a frozen yogurt in Crested Butte.
The Celebrity, 41, and her sweet brood looked picture impeccable as they hit the frosty streets to enjoy a delicious treat taking after an evening in the snow.
At first observed walking hand-in-hand with Vivienne, the couple looked upbeat to spend an unwinding evening far from the slants as they visited animatedly on their way into town where they were joined soon after by Knox and Shiloh.
In spite of being clad in thick ski wear, Angelina still looked as charming as ever in her dark parka – which was finished with a chic fur hood, pulled up to shield her from the frosty and blanketed temperatures.
Prepared for a session on the slants later on, the Maleficent star matched the coat with an arrangement of dark salopettes and stout snow boots – yet was certain to adorn with her trademark curiously large shades.
But pulling the hood over her head, the brunette’s actually striking features and dazzling appearance was still clear to see as she took her most youngest girl for an evening treat.
Vivienne’s twin sibling Knox, went for an edgylook as he was clad in make a beeline for toe camouflage – finish with coordinating pants and a hooded coat.
Shiloh, who was truant on the slants, avoided an overwhelming coat for a baggy hoodie with a cool beanie.
The gathering were seen halting at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a hot chocolate and a dessert to take away.
While her children cheerfully enjoyed the rich pastry, Angelina picked only an espresso as they continued to the toy store around the bend for a spot of shopping.
The gathering had all the earmarks of being taking an unwinding break from skiing – having spent their morning in real life on the mountains.
Brad recently told one of his closest friend ‘This has been the worst holiday season of my life.’
The actor is as yet dealing with having just supervised visits with his kids.
Addressing The Mail on Sunday the source clarified: ‘Brad’s anguish is palpable right now. He desperately misses having his kids with him at Christmas and New Year. These supervised visits are sheer hell on him. He’s broken down in tears so many times – he’s not ashamed to cry any more.’
He apparently met five of his kids in Los Angeles on Christmas Day – however Maddox would not like to see him.
