You can never really have too many pairs of jeans, even more so if the proceeds go to charity.
Emma Watson, Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham and Alicia Vikander are among celebrities to have donated their favourite jeans for a new charity project raising money for the refugee crisis. There are currently 19.5 million refugees worldwide and that number is rising steadily.
Artist Johny Dar has handpainted each style, and the results will be shown at the Saatchi Gallery in London from October 24 – 30. All proceeds go towards the Jeans for Refugees foundation.
The jeans will then be auctioned off at Catawiki.com. Other 100 high-profile names have teamed up for the project, including Cara Delevingne, Bella Hadid and Ryan Gosling.
Bids have already started flying in, with Moss’ jeans at £1,671 and Watson’s at £1,253.
