Leonardo DiCaprio throw a charity fundraiser in a vineyard near St Tropez, with guests ranging from Mariah Carey and Bradley Cooper to Naomi Campbell and Bono.
The annual event is held in aid of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation which raises money for “the long-term health and wellbeing of all Earth’s inhabitants”.
The charity has so given away more than $59 million to fun environmental projects since it was founded by Leonardo DiCaprio in 2008 and went towards raising that figure and so it did, adding a whopping $45 million.
The gala guest list was quite something: With Mariah Carey, Bradley Cooper, Naomi Campbell, Jonah Hill, Tobey Maguire, Edward Norton and Victoria’s Secret models Doutzen Kroes and Lily Dondalson among the many famous faces joining the bidding wars.
Leo convinced A-list pals like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bono, Martin Scorsese and Harvey Weinstein to part with their valuables to raise money for the charity.
But it wasn’t just watches, handbags and shoes that went up for the auction, you could also bid for the ‘Leonardo DiCaprio experience’ which included a week on set with Martin Scorsese, a private game of Texas Hold ‘Em with Edward Norton and Jonah Hill, lunch with Margot Robbie and an evening with Mariah Carey.
Throughout the night, Leo posed for photos with his famous mates before they sat down for a dinner while watching speeches and a performance from Lana Del Ray.
