Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s divorce has been finalized more than two years after they announced their “conscious uncoupling,” People reports. According to a court document filed by the actress in May, the two agreed that neither will ever ask for spousal support.
The former couple first announced their split after 10-years of marriage in 2014 in an essay titled “Conscious Uncoupling” posted on GOOP. “We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate,” they said. “We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.”
Since then, they’ve remained close friends, even going on vacation together. Paltrow also frequently attends her ex-husband’s concert with their children Apple and Moses.
