According to Forbes, Jennifer Lawrence raked in a whopping $46 million before taxes over the course of a 12-month period. Coming in second was Melissa McCarthy, who made $33 million over the same span.
The 26-year-old’s massive paydays are largely from her cut of the box office gross for the last film in The Hunger Games series, which made $653.4 million. Her spot on the list also takes into account her hefty upfront fee to be in the upcoming sci-fi romance Passengers($20 million).
Rounding out the top five is Scarlett Johansson with $25 million and Jennifer Aniston($21 million) who manages to frequently get gigantic upfront fees for her movies. At number five is the Chinese actress Fan Bing bing, who took in $15 million. Get used to seeing her name.
