It’s been a strange week in British politics to say the least. Between Britain leaving the European Union, the pound plummeting and David Cameron resigning, it seems that nothing more could shock us. So what do we make of Keanu Reeves‘ appearance in Parliament yesterday? Sounds about right.
The Hollywood actor and star of The Matrix visited the House of Commons yesterday and stood for photos with MPs.
But why was he there? No one knows.
As expected, it didn’t take long for Twitter to start making Matrix references, with people hoping that the past week in politics was just a “glitch in the Matrix”, while others joked that Reeves was here to “save us” from Brexit.
For whatever reason Keanu Reeves was in Parliament yesterday, it’s brought a bit of joy to an otherwise rocky week in British politics.
