Scientists have found that people may be born with pre-determined behaviour traits.
The team, from the University of Exeter and other international locations, have studied various colony-living creatures, such as bees, and have found that genetics can predict certain behaviours. These include whether you’re more likely to look out for people or just look out for yourself.
But, all is not lost. If people are born with more “naughty” genes, it doesn’t mean they’re necessarily doomed for life. External influences, such as how you are brought up and how susceptible you are to learning manners for example, can make sure you end up on the “nice” team.
Thank God for that.
