Taylor Swift has maintained that she didn’t give her approval for Kanye West’s “Famous” lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous,” but Kim Kardashian finally shared the evidence she said she had that proves once and for all Swift and Kanye spoke about the song before its release.

Needless to say, Swift was not pleased with this turn of events in her feud with the Wests.

The video, released by Kim to her Snapchat, shows West speaking with Swift on the phone. He recites the lyrics to Taylor, “To all my southside n—-s that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex” to Swift on the phone, leaving out the last part about making her famous. She tells him to choose whatever line he thinks is best, and says, “It’s obviously very tongue-in-cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it. That’s really nice.”

But Swift doesn’t think it was very nice to post a video of a secret recording of the call. She posted a response on Instagram, captioning it, “That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet.”

Swift wrote in a note, “Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard.”

She adds, “Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination.”

This back and forth has been going on since the song “Famous” was released in February. Most recently, Kim told GQ, “She totally knew that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t,” and Kim also addressed why she defended her husband in a clip from Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
