Vin Diesel reportedly stormed off set after filming his final scenes of “Fast and Furious 8”, amid his ongoing feud with co-star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Following Johnson’s unexpected Facebook rant about an unnamed co-star rumoured to be Diesel, TMZ have reported that the actor went to confront the 44 year old in his trailer on set. However, it doesn’t look like anything was resolved as Diesel made a swift exit after wrapping up filming for the franchise after allegedly making a speech including the words “Daddy’s gone.”
In the former WWE star’s Facebook post, he revealed that although he loved working with his female co-stars Charlize Theron, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez, and the behind the scenes crew, he referred to the situation with his male co-stars to be “a different story”.
“Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken sh*t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses,” said the actor, after describing the experience as “blood boiling.”
Co-star Tyrese Gibson was quick to react to the statement saying he wasn’t aware of who Johnson was talking about but assumed it wasn’t him because they are friends . “DJ happens to be one of the most humble, down to earth and professional people I’ve ever worked with and more importantly he’s my brother.”
We’re guessing Vin Diesel’s reaction wasn’t as calm and full of praise as that one.
Filming for Fast & Furious 8 will be complete next week and set to release on 14 April 2017.
