We love Zara, who doesn’t? But it’s the brand’s wide appeal that unfortunately results in queues the length of the Great Wall of China.
That’s all set to change as reports emerge that Zara is to launch self check-outs. Apparently, they’ve already been installed in some of the brand’s Spanish stores and there are plans to roll them out in other countries.
According to Refinery29, there is a logistics centre dedicated to testing high-tech store innovations, such as the self check-outs. Also in the potential pipeline are touch-screens for dressing room which allow you to request a different size without having to put your clothes on again and shimmy out to the hectic shop floor again.
No news on when these developments might arrive to the UK, but we’re excited.
